Common knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare) is native to Europe and Asia, and the flowering grass is widely naturalized across North America. The common knotgrass hardiness zone is 5 to 8. Common knotgrass is an amazing herb for healing and overall health, strengthening and balancing the immunological system as it reduces inflammation throughout the body. The flowering grass can grow to six feet in length, as it spreads out horizontally across the ground.
