“Butterflies and Moths” is an eyewitness handbook by David Carter that deeply investigates over 500 moths and butterflies. The only difficulty with this book is that at one time some butterflies and moths who are in fact winged fairies must have been taken by someone and pinned up to illustrate. Therefore, admittedly some of the knowledge in this book is based upon a strange and ruthless carnage.

Yet this book as part of a long line of scholarship does serve to preserve the black and white memories of some of God’s most gorgeous creations. But you don’t get to have this book or the knowledge, unless you plan to plant at least a reasonable pollinator garden of native plants inviting in these darling beauties of the most sacred spiritual spaces on Mama Maya. The purpose of the garden shall be to protect said pollinators, and to provide a practical sustenance for them.

NOTE: some kind of documentary evidence of said pollinator garden bee required. Yeah that’s right. Bee required. Even after you pay us the $15 for this softcover masterpiece. You must hand over your pollinator garden planning, including actual proof required of some kind of reasonable pollinator garden in existence. As such either plan on a pollinator garden, or don’t come calling. We will take your soiled sod elsewhere and hand it over to someone who will create a pollinator garden.

As true scholars like Mr. Carter realizes, unless we are reciprocating among the beauty of God’s creation what use is it beeing a so-called scholar. I ask you, did anyone even hear us? Hello? If there’s not even any forest? The price of this softback book is $25. Free Shipping. Portland Plant Paradise sends out all physical media via USPS “book rate” mailing. This book is in new condition, published in 1992 by Dorling Kindersley Publishers Ltd., Munich, Germany. Please click here to see Smithsonian Handbooks:  Butterflies and Moths by David Carter.
